about
Enjoy a sculpture making workshop led by Jessica Perez. 🐚This workshop begins with a visit to Sarah Crowner’s exhibition 𝙁𝙖𝙞𝙧𝙚 𝙁𝙤𝙮𝙚𝙧: 𝙎𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙝 𝘾𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙣𝙚𝙧 𝙞𝙣 𝘿𝙞𝙖𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙪𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙀𝙩𝙚𝙡 𝘼𝙙𝙣𝙖𝙣, where her reflective bronze sculptures embody movement, gesture, and organic form. After careful observation, we will create our own paper models. 🗞️From there, we move into the paper making workshop beginning with processing and dying the recycled paper, learning how to prepare for making our own sheets. 🔗The goal is to create engaging shapes that challenge our perception of this everyday medium.
