🎬 We will start with a documentary called WATERWALKERS (1981) narrated by David Attenborough, who recently celebrated his 100th birthday, and we will have cupcakes, refreshments and party favors in honor of the legendary environmentalist and documentary filmmaker 🎊 We will then watch three short experimental films that are curated with Attenborough’s legacy in mind; IN THE GARDEN (1969), SANDCASTLE (1977), and HANDS (1969). 🎞️ We will then close out the night with CALLING MIAMI HOME (1984), a film by Mel Kiser in which notable long time residents, like Marjory Stoneman Douglas, reflect on the impact of uncontrolled development in South Florida.
