Holding the Thread of Reality brings together selected MIFA artists-in-residence whose practices use fiber as material, language, and method. Presented within the context of the Fiber Miami Triennial 2026 and its reflection on 250 years of the United States, the exhibition turns away from dominant historical narratives to focus on intimate realities shaped by memory, migration, care, displacement, nature, heritage, and belonging.
