Azooma Sunday Brunch
about
☀️ Brunch is better when it’s shared. #sufra ☀️ Join us for a special Mother’s Day Azooma Brunch - a celebration of mothers in all their forms. We hold this day expansively, honoring those who raised us, those who nurture and care for us, chosen family, elders, and the many ways we care for and show up for eachother. In a world that often devalues care work, we gather to uplift it as something essential, political, and worth celebrating together. Azooma Brunch is a cozy, community-centered Palestinian brunch in Miami hosted at noreservationswinebar. Expect a rotating spread of traditional Palestinian breakfast with a twist, cocktails made from Lebanese natural wines, Arabi classics for the vibes, and a table full of good people and conversation. Menu + ticket sales available using the link in our bio! We are now offering options to buy an extra ticket and/or contribute $20 to a fund for reduced fee / free tickets for community members who can’t afford a full priced ticket. If you have the means, we’d greatly appreciate your support in ensuring our brunches are accessible to all! Come hungry, bring someone you love. 💛 ♿ Accessibility: The venue is wheelchair accessible. 🦠 COVID Protocol: to help keep our community safe, we are asking guests to take a rapid test. We will have free tests on site (they take 15 min) for anyone who needs one, but if you have one at home please feel free to test on your own before coming. We will also have air purifiers running to further minimize risk. DM us for limited outdoor seating! 📚 When you visit the ticket link, you’ll have the option to add a book - Becoming Abolitionists by Derecka Purnell - to your order. This will be the first pick for our Azooma V&V Book Club. Our book club will be a space for collective learning, conversation, dreaming, and radical imagining. Stay tuned for details on how to join. 📚
