Image Readings: Affective Archives Edition

Throughout the summer, WOPHA’s monthly community gathering for photographers and image-makers is hosted by the artists featured in our exhibition Affective Archives. This month’s session will be led by exhibiting artist Christine Cortes (christine_cortes). Christine Cortes (they/she) is a first-generation Colombian-American artist born in Miami, FL, and raised between Miami and Colombia. As a photo-based artist, they are interested in exploring Post-Documentary Photography through alternative and non-traditional processes of image-making, image-printing, book-making, print-making, and installing images. Participants who wish to share work are welcome to bring prints or digital images for discussion. This event is offered on a pay-what-you-can basis. All contributions help sustain WOPHA’s year-round programming.
